Cherry Blossom Festival 2009 - D.C.

Parker and his friends Carson and Colin from across the street enjoyed the first day of the Cherry Blossom Festival along the Potomac in D.C. We started at the Jefferson Memorial and walked all the way to the White House where we stopped for cheesburgers at the Old Ebbitt Grill. It was a great day!

Parker is 6 Weeks old today!

Well it seems like yesterday that Justin and I brought little Parker home with us and now he is six weeks old. Time sure does fly by when you are having fun. Parker is such a sweet baby and I feel blessed to have him in my life.

Christmas in Maryland

Mom, Dad, and Lauren took in the sights during their trip tp Maryland for Christmas. We took them to the capitol to see the Christmas tree and all the set up for Obama's inauguration. We also went to St. Michaels Island where Lauren finally got a chance to wring Dad's neck. We capped it off with a nice day in Baltimore's Inner Harbour where Mom, Dad, and Lauren toured the Civil War era wooden battleship named the Constellation. Afterwards we all enjoyed burgers and fries at Five Guys where Lauren gave anyone who got near her fries a demon look.

Parker's First Christmas

Parker made it just in time to celebrate Christmas 2008 with the family. Grandma and Grandpa Moses along with Auntie Lauren flew in from St. Louis on Christmas day and stayed with us for 8 days. Everyone had a great time bonding with Parker.

As you can see, Santa got his milk and cookies and still had time for a little nap. Parker is getting bigger by the day! I am enjoying every minute of my maternity leave with him. Christmas has been very special this year since we have added our new addition to our household.
